UAB Medicine is seeking an Organ Placement Coordinator (OPC) to manage organ allocation, surgical recovery, perfusion, packaging, and transport. The role will receive organ offers and relay them to the transplant surgeon, track cases, and coordinate travel for recoveries.
This remote position requires 12–15 days of 24-hour call per month or equivalent shifts, with weekend/holiday on-call and rotating day/night shifts.
