This Library Technician position supports academic library services through resource acquisition, cataloguing, processing, circulation, reference, and interlibrary loans. The work maintains accessible collections while assisting students, faculty, and staff with research, library technologies, and information resources. • Acquire and process print and digital learning resources
• Create and maintain bibliographic records using established standards
• Process invoices and purchase orders
• Provide circulation, reference, and interlibrary loan services
• Maintain collections, inventories, and collection records

• Library Technician diploma
• Two years of academic library experience
• Three years of progressive post-secondary environment experience
• Experience with purchasing, acquisitions, bookkeeping, or financial processes
• Cataloguing standards, integrated systems, and customer service experience
