About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Automotive Diagnostic Specialist to provide expert technical support and analysis for their automotive products. In this fully remote role, you will leverage advanced diagnostic tools and your deep understanding of vehicle systems to help resolve complex technical issues reported by customers and service centers. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in automotive diagnostics from anywhere, contributing significantly to product quality and customer satisfaction in the global automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities- Provide remote technical assistance to automotive technicians and service centers for complex diagnostic challenges.
- Analyze vehicle diagnostic data, fault codes, and system performance logs to identify root causes of issues.
- Develop and refine diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting guides for various vehicle makes and models.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams to relay field issues and recommend product improvements based on diagnostic findings.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic software and hardware to remotely access and interpret vehicle data.
- Train and support service personnel on new diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Master Technician or Diagnostic Specialist.
- In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines, hybrid/electric vehicle systems, and automotive electronics.
- Proficiency with a wide range of automotive diagnostic tools, scan tools, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience interpreting wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical service bulletins.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly in a remote setting.
- Relevant certifications such as ASE Master Technician are highly preferred.
