Automotive Service Advisor

Our client is looking for a customer-focused and organized Automotive Service Advisor to join their well-established dealership in Port Elizabeth . This hybrid role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. You will be responsible for greeting customers, accurately assessing their vehicle needs, scheduling appointments, and clearly communicating repair recommendations and costs.

Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will be vital in building customer trust and ensuring satisfaction.

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, actively listening to their vehicle concerns.
• Accurately interpret customer needs and translate them into service orders for technicians.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, repairs, and associated costs to customers.
• Schedule service appointments efficiently, coordinating with the workshop's capacity.
• Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates as needed.
• Process customer payments and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and service scheduling software .
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
