Job Opportunity:
Sustainability Analyst at US Foods
This role supports US Foods' sustainability roadmap by analyzing market trends, conducting research, and providing insights to inform sustainability decisions and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) goals, particularly in reducing carbon emissions. The position involves tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for improving sustainability practices.
Responsibilities:- Analyze market trends and conduct research related to sustainability.
- Provide insights to support sustainability decision-making.
- Track progress toward sustainability KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for sustainability improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Adaptability to new technologies and tools.
- Travel up to 25% to distribution centers or other facilities based on sustainability goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in business operations, supply chain, finance, sustainability, economics, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
