Proposal Analyst – Analyze complex supplier proposals and support material cost estimating for Lockheed Martin Space proposals in the Space Business Area.

• Analyze complex supplier proposals within the Space Business Area.
• Execute and shape Material Cost Estimating (MCE) efforts supporting LM Space proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering and make/buy planners on pricing of small‑to‑mid‑sized Bills of Material.
• Obtain price information via historical system data and/or new quotations.
• Support system architecture efforts and enhance value through material acquisition strategy.
• Participate in reviews, fact‑finding sessions, and audits (LM internal and DCAA/DCMA related).
• Develop solutions to complex problems independently or as part of a team.

• Preferred sites:
  Denver, CO;
  Titusville‑Space Coast, FL;
  King of Prussia/Valley Forge, PA;
  Huntsville/Courtland, AL;
  Sunnyvale, CA.
• Position offers full‑time remote telework; travel to Lockheed Martin office may be required for periodic meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience.
• 2+ years in Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Negotiation, Proposal/Capture, or Category Management).

• Master’s degree.
• Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with financial aspects of proposal pricing, material planning, estimating, WBS, IPL, FAR 15, SAP LMP2P.
• Ability to support fact‑finding exercises, review supplier proposals for compliance.
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet aggressive proposal schedules.

Annual base salary range varies by location:
California, Massachusetts, New York (major metros): $84,900 – $147,085
Other states: $73,800 – $130,180

Standard 40‑hour week; options for condensed schedules. Sample: 9‑x‑80 with every other Friday off.
