Senior Director, Procurement, RNA Hub

Job Summary

Senior Director, Procurement, RNA Hub – Fresenius Kabi USA (Lake Zurich, IL). The role leads the U.S., Canada and Caribbean region as part of the global indirect procurement function, guiding the Hub NAM Category Management Team and local procurement operations.

• Define, develop and implement Hub strategy aligned with the Global Indirect Procurement Strategic Framework (Cost Productivity, Payment Term Plan, Vendor Rationalization).
• Establish short/mid/long‑term sourcing plans across various indirect procurement categories to support the HUB NAM Region Growth Agenda.
• Advocate and enforce Global Functional Policies, Standards, Templates and Playbooks for compliance and transparency.
• Lead the Category Management Team and local procurement operations with high engagement and performance management.
• Participate in annual budgeting and monthly performance reviews.
• Act as a business partner and promote procurement to senior‑level stakeholders.
• Own and drive transformational initiatives (TOM, ARIBA P2P, Contract Life Cycle Management, Automation, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain (Master’s preferred).
• 12+ years in supply chain/procurement/sourcing/operational excellence; 7+ years in management.
• Proven success in systems/process transformation.
• Advanced negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience applying procurement standards and SOPs.
• Ability to work in an international business environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of procurement solutions, preferably SAP.

Salary: $250,000–270,000 annually. Eligible for an annual bonus plan (target 22% of base) and a medium‑term incentive plan. Compensation decisions consider experience, education, and skills.
