Eleven Dynamics AG is on a mission to build the world’s leading Smart Factory Operating System. Our core software, EDAS, enables manufacturers to automate metrology processes - inline and atline - with unmatched flexibility, speed, and precision. To scale our impact globally, we are hiring a Business Development Manager who will be fully responsible for building, expanding, and managing a high-performing global network of autonomous Solution Providers—partners who sell and implement EDAS-based automation solutions in their own markets.
Whatis a Solution Provider at Eleven Dynamics?
A Solution Provider is a trusted partner company that:
- Sells, builds, and installs complete inline and atline automation solutions using EDAS
- Implements their own customer projects, with their first EDAS-based solution delivered within the first 12 months
- Builds and manages their own sales pipeline – we may provide leads when it fits, but they cannot rely on us to feed them with projects
- Receives sales enablement and guidance, but must execute all commercial and technical activities independently (we do not perform proof-of-concepts or pilot projects on their behalf)
- Becomes largely autonomous by the second year and fully independent by year three
- Provides full support and maintenance for the automated solutions they deliver
- May offer first-level EDAS support, but their primary role is solution implementation
You are directly accountable for identifying, onboarding, enabling, and managing a growing global network of Solution Providers. Your job is not just to support, but to drive performance, ensure results, and hold partners accountable for revenue and delivery targets. You will travel frequently to visit partners, guide their ramp-up phase, and develop them into self-sufficient, high-performing sales and implementation teams.
Your Responsibilities- Identify and recruit qualified Solution Providers worldwide
- Evaluate technical and commercial fit, and ensure alignment on growth potential
- Define individual targets for each Solution Provider (sales, delivery, project milestones)
- Monitor performance and hold each partner accountable for results
- Guide new partners to deliver their first customer project with EDAS within 12 months
- Ensure each partner builds and owns their own sales pipeline – while supporting them with sales tools, training, and guidance
- Provide sales support where needed, but do not execute projects or proof-of-concepts for them
- Enable and train partners in the ramp-up phase; reduce involvement as they scale
- Develop scalable onboarding frameworks and performance tracking systems
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, tech, and product teams to align goals
- Travel frequently to visit partners, assess progress, and strengthen relationships
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partner management, or B2B sales
- Background in industrial automation, metrology, robotics, or related tech industries
- Proven track record of driving partner/channel sales and holding external teams accountable
- Strong international mindset and ability to operate across cultures and regions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
- High willingness to travel internationally (up to 60–70%)
