Within our Purchasing team, based in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a:

Perfumes Purchasing Performance Project Manager

Reporting to the Strategic Purchasing & Supply Director, you will define the purchasing strategy over a long-term horizon by defining the most suitable supplier portfolio (for packaging components and raw materials) while respecting the brand identity & LVMH Beauty group synergies. Moreover, you will push value chain creation and accelerate operational excellence of purchasing through innovation and digitalisation of our tools and processes.

In your role, you focus on product margins to reconcile profitability and desirability. You participate in increasing gross margins and evaluating the investment (time, capex, opex) vs. the size of prize of each project to take informed decisions throughout the product lifecycle. You work to maximise value creation operations impacting the P&L.

You manage performance and efficiency and are accountable for purchasing performance both from operational and financial standpoints. Thus, you design and implement functional improvements to processes and tools. You are also responsible for proposing tactical purchasing recommendations based on the financial performance of suppliers in line with the brand’s purchasing strategy.

You negotiate with integrity, lead and challenge teams in terms of negotiation strategy, use innovative negotiation levers and focus on product mark‑up maximisation. You animate the network, lead best practices and drive brand advocacy. You are in charge of exploiting the supplier relationships by creating a preferred customer relationship with strategic suppliers through SRM as a key element for business growth and competitiveness.

Your role is to assess and manage risks by defining and implementing a risk management policy. In order to secure risks, you implement advanced and breakthrough methodologies or tools. You manage and drive due diligence processes while protecting our business continuity plans for all industrial key‑players. You develop market intelligence tools on categories through a client‑centric approach of data management for your area of responsibility.

Finally, you drive and develop the Purchasing Share of Voice among stakeholders by communicating, managing projects, sharing suppliers’ information with stakeholders and influencing stakeholders.

Profile

Holder of a degree in Engineering or Purchasing, you have proven experience of at least 5 years in a purchasing or procurement department within a multinational company. You handle processes and purchasing performance, preferably in the Perfumes or FMCG industries. A good knowledge of the luxury industry is a plus.

Being strongly customer focused with a high product sensitivity, you are committed to meeting the expectations and requirements of your internal clients in terms of quality and time. You are aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace, and you know well the competition. Rigorous and results oriented, you can manage multiple projects simultaneously and propose continuous improvement on the different processes.

Thanks to your interpersonal skills and your team spirit, you are seen as a reliable person keen to people and business needs.
