As the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading our sales team to new heights. Job Location- This position is remote. The candidate must live in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana.
- Lead with Purpose – Guide and inspire your sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets, driving profitable growth while maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service.
- Craft & Execute Winning Strategies – Develop and execute annual sales plans, including defining key metrics and tracking progress against targets to ensure we stay on course for success.
- Cultivate Relationships – Build and maintain deep, long‑lasting relationships with major accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, and identifying opportunities for new business.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve – Monitor market trends, assess product portfolios, and work on new product introductions to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation and competitiveness.
- Collaborate for Success – Partner with production and operations teams to ensure products meet our high standards of quality, availability, and demand.
- Optimize Operations – Oversee sales‑related administrative tasks, including managing special orders, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across the board.
- Drive Business Development – Proactively scout for new opportunities, markets, and customers, securing new business while expanding our footprint in both existing and untapped industries.
- Maintain Financial Discipline – Manage the sales cost structure, balancing staffing, marketing, and travel expenses while driving high ROI.
- A bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in Outside Sales or Sales Management, preferably within the building materials or hardscapes industry.
- Exceptional ability to lead and motivate a sales team, with a focus on results, professional growth, and customer satisfaction.
- A keen understanding of market trends, sales analytics, and the ability to pivot strategies based on insights and data.
- A strong command of CRM platforms, with the ability to analyze data to drive sales strategies and decisions.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays within your region.
- Base salary $105,000–$125,000 plus annual bonus.
