Senior Manager, Procurement

Base pay range: $110,000 – $130,000 per year.

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect spend categories, with potential to include direct materials and services.
• Manage RFX processes (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) to evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate pricing, and deliver cost savings.
• Oversee tactical supplier management, including contract lifecycle management, ad hoc negotiations, supplier performance reviews, and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations by managing PO creation, approvals, and catalog procurement in partnership with AWH site buyers.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation within procurement systems, ensuring supplier records, contracts, pricing, and category data are current, standardized, and compliant with internal controls.
• Drive value creation through spend analysis, identifying savings and cash flow opportunities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Partner cross-functionally across the company to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives.
• Engage with site teams and key stakeholders through periodic onsite visits to strengthen relationships, gain firsthand understanding of operations, and identify sourcing or process improvement opportunities.
• Champion process improvement projects, implementing best practices and scalable solutions that enhance procurement efficiency, visibility, and compliance.
• Contribute to supplier relationship management (SRM), ensuring supplier alignment with AWH's performance, compliance, and sustainability standards.
• Monitor category performance and market trends to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and innovations within assigned categories.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives such as supplier diversity efforts, policy development, risk mitigation projects, and system or process enhancement initiatives that strengthen the overall procurement framework.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of Procurement experience, ideally within a corporate or multi-site environment.
• Proven track record of achieving measurable cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to influence and drive results.
• Proficiency in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems and experience with ERP or eProcurement platforms such as SAP, Coupa, GEP, Procurify, or Beanworks.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret spend data and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a talent for building trust-based relationships across functions and levels.
• Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a collaborative, evolving organization.
• Experience in supply chain management, including managing inventory policy, is a plus.
• Familiarity with the cannabis industry or highly regulated industries is a plus but not required.
• Ability to travel occasionally to company locations or supplier sites to foster collaboration and align procurement initiatives with operational needs.

This position primarily performs duties in a remote office setting when not onsite in a dispensary or manufacturing facility environment.

While performing the duties of this job, this position is regularly required to sit and regularly use hand(s) to handle, grasp, feel, and or touch. This position is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. This position is required to speak and listen regularly.
