Danone Türkiye is looking for a talented colleague for the “Senior Procurement Manager - Indirect “position. Take this opportunity to GROW together! In this role, you will lead indirect procurement strategies across industrial and CAPEX categories, ensuring alignment with global objectives and operational excellence in a dynamic FMCG environment. Acting as a strategic partner, you will drive cost optimization initiatives while fostering strong collaboration with stakeholders across multiple business units.

You will manage a team of five and report directly to the Head of Indirect Cycle and C&P Excellence.

In this role you will:

  • Support three Danone CBUs (EDP, SN, Waters) and eight factories in achieving common goals for indirect spend in industrial and CAPEX categories.
  • Align with global and regional stakeholders on procurement strategies and lead execution of site-level tactics to ensure lower total cost of ownership.
  • Develop and manage sourcing strategies for materials and services in collaboration with business units such as R&D and Operations, including plant managers.
  • Provide administrative support for professional services sourcing across eight plants.
  • Build and maintain a global supplier network to meet business objectives, manage relationships with global Danone category buyers, and contribute to the “best cost country” target.
  • Share relevant business insights and manage a team of six category buyers.
  • Monitor supplier contracts and ensure accurate SAP reporting.
  • Prepare and evaluate business cases and feasibility reports.
  • Ensure compliance with key metrics, including SAP-related documentation (PO support, GR & proof of delivery), company processes, master data, internal controls, and OHS regulations.
  • Track and improve Perfect PO and P2P KPIs.
  • Lead and enhance digitalization projects (e-procurement tools, e-tendering, catalog buying), preferably using PROMENA.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, with experience in industrial and capital equipment investment purchases.
  • Experience working in a high-volume production environment and managing process productivity projects.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in purchasing, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
  • Strong SAP background.
  • Systematic, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • High sense of urgency and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in Turkish & English.

  • No travel restrictions (domestic and international).
