Transportation Specialist

• Analyze and evaluate transportation processes to enhance delivery effectiveness and reduce costs.
• Compile and assess data from various transportation management systems to implement process improvements.
• Develop and analyze transportation-related KPIs, focusing on small parcel cost and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with carriers and transportation managers to optimize service levels and performance.
• Manage vendor invoices and respond to transportation-related inquiries from various business units.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in transportation or logistics.
• Ability to present information effectively to various organizational levels.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of automated freight pay and audit processes.

• Experience in the courier industry and/or pool distribution environments.
• Familiarity with preparing or responding to RFPs and RFQs in a transportation context.
• Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Continuous improvement or process improvement experience.
