Location: Bloomington, IL, USA (Remote position; Candidates must reside in the United States and be willing to travel to customer locations and events.)

Description:

We are seeking a
high-energy Business Developer
to drive Beetexting’s rapid growth within the
cloud communications industry
. Our go-to-market is mostly indirect;our platform is integrated and sold as part of our clients’ cloud communications apps. This roleis responsible for identifying, recruiting, and enabling
reseller and channel partners
, managing the complete business development lifecycle—from lead generation through to partner launch and ongoing account growth.

You will build strategic relationships with key cloud communications players, help integrate and enable their success, and continuously seek opportunities to expand our footprint through collaboration and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Identify and engage potential reseller and channel partners within the cloud communications ecosystem.
  • Build, qualify, and manage a pipeline of strategic opportunities.
  • Identify the right ecosystems where Beetexting needs to build awareness and brand recognition.
  • Own the full sales cycle—from first contact and pitch through contract negotiation and signing.
  • Prepare business proposals that cover all aspects of partnership.
  • Ensure integration requirements between partner systems and company platforms are well-defined and agreed on.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to finalize reseller agreements.
  • Partner Onboarding & Enablement:
  • Coordinate technical and operational teams to onboard new partners quickly and smoothly.
  • Deliver training and sales enablement resources to accelerate partner success.
  • Account Farming & Growth:
  • Nurture and expand existing partner relationships to maximize joint revenue.
  • Identify upsell and co-marketing opportunities with active resellers.
  • Track partner performance and proactively address challenges or growth blockers.
  • Report regularly to COO on pipeline health, forecasts, and key account status.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations to align on go-to-market and partner strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, channel sales, or partnerships (B2B).
  • High energy and proactive drive
    — able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven ability to
    prioritize pipeline effectively
    and manage multiple partnership opportunities simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a
    long-term, trust-based approach
    to business development.
  • Experience and established connections in the cloud communications industry area must.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
