key member of functional client teams managing several deliverables including:
- creating and maintaining ir calendar for year – including investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
- contributing to quarterly earnings process – conference call logistics, drafting press releases, speaker scripts, q&a materials, and presentation materials
- collecting and analyzing sell side estimates and maintain consensus model
- managing investor meetings and conference presentations, including logistics, background materials and the preparation of senior executives
- maintaining ir section of corporate website
- responding to investor inquiries; logging inquiries, maintain database of investor activities
- monitoring and compiling peer group research; following industry, competitor and customer developments and news flow including earnings calls and analyst days - communicating key takeaways to management teams
- preparing materials for board of directors and other internal audiences on investor relations activities, share ownership, and valuation as required
- participate in client meetings and calls
- assist with the preparation of presentation materials
- review and recommend content and updates for ir website
- travel, as needed, to investor conferences and meetings
the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- strong analytical and writing skills
- ability and desire to work in a team environment
- excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
- detail oriented and able to multi-task with efficiency
- keen interest in or understanding of the equity markets
- confident and professional phone and e-mail communication
- ability to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision
- strong knowledge of microsoft office, particularly word, excel, and power point
- 3+ years of work experience
- bachelor’s degree: finance classes or degree preferred
