The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations that support company projects and daily operations. This role oversees purchasing activities, supplier coordination, inventory control, and all shipping and receiving functions. The position requires close review of awarded project Statements of Work (SOW) and Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are sourced accurately, cost‑effectively, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate brings experience in procurement and warehouse management. Working knowledge of manufacturers and suppliers within the telecommunications and security systems industry is required

Reliable transportation is required. Candidates must be willing to undergo background screening and drug testing. This position is not applicable for remote work.

Pay Range: $65K-$75k
Key Responsibilities:Procurement and Purchasing:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that support project timelines and operational needs.
- Review awarded project SOWs and BOMs to ensure accurate purchasing of materials and equipment.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
- Monitor market conditions and vendor offerings to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Oversee warehouse operations including inventory organization, storage, and material flow.
- Manage inventory levels to balance availability with cost control.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
- Develop and enforce procedures for inventory control, material handling, and warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key vendors and manufacturers.
- Evaluate supplier performance related to pricing, delivery, and service quality.
- Resolve supplier issues efficiently and professionally.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activity, inventory status, and cost performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, and finance teams to align material needs and purchasing timelines.
- Coordinate with finance to ensure accurate invoicing, purchase order reconciliation, and timely payments.
- Proven experience in procurement, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain practices within telecommunications and security systems environments.
- Experience managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
- High attention to detail and organizational discipline.
