- Analyze and evaluate transportation processes to improve delivery performance and cost efficiency
- Develop transportation-related databases and track small parcel shipment metrics
- Conduct small parcel and LTL shipment planning, forecasting, and carrier selection
- Prepare data and requirements for transportation request for proposals (RFPs) and carrier conversions
- Support transportation-related inquiries from various business units and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a transportation environment
- Experience in preparing or responding to RFPs and RFQs
- Strong analytical, negotiating, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in the courier industry or pool distribution environments
- Knowledge of automated freight pay and audit processes
- Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present information effectively to all organizational levels
