What you’ll do

At SCA, you’ll play a key role in driving our mission to keep communities clean and safe across the country. As a Sales Operations Manager, you’ll help support our dedicated field teams and deliver critical services that make a visible impact every day. Whether you're leading people, optimizing processes, or providing essential support, your work will contribute directly to our success—and to the communities we proudly serve.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Leadership:
    Define and execute sales operations strategies aligned to commercial, government, and strategic project goals; develop pipeline and profitability models to support pricing, prioritization, performance, and compliance.
  • Government Sales Support:
    Oversee bid scraping and monitoring across federal, state, and local procurement portals; ensure timely RFP/RFQ distribution and maintain government contracting compliance and reporting standards.
  • Strategic Project Tracking:
    Identify, track, and prioritize milling, paving, and construction opportunities across public and private sources in partnership with sales teams.
  • Marketing Partnership:
    Coordinate trade show strategy, logistics, lead capture, and ROI analysis; collaborate with Marketing on customer growth campaigns, pipeline impact, and performance reporting.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
    Design and refine scalable sales processes across all channels, including workflows for government bid submissions and documentation.
  • Revenue Forecasting & Analytics:
    Own forecasting models, pipeline analysis, and performance dashboards; provide actionable insights to leadership and support Finance with revenue forecasting, recognition, and compliance.
  • CRM & Sales Technology:
    Lead CRM (Salesforce) configuration, data integrity, and adoption; integrate bid and project tracking tools and ensure clean lead handoff and reporting across Sales and Marketing.

    Partner with Finance and HR to manage and administer incentive programs for commercial and government sales teams.
Minimum

Job Requirements
  • Education:

    College Degree
  • Experience:

    5 years’ experience with sales operations / marketing
  • Management

    Experience:

    1-2 years' experience managing cross‑functional teams
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite
