Are you a customer‑centric Senior Product Manager with a proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment? We’re looking for a self‑starting Senior Product Manager to drive innovation at Toptal by building and scaling AI‑driven products that expand the breadth and depth of our product and service offering.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead a team of engineers while working cross‑functionally with Engineering, Design, and other Product Managers to define, build, and launch mission‑critical initiatives built on Toptal’s AI platform. You will drive end‑to‑end product discovery and delivery, using user research, data, and cross‑functional collaboration to identify new opportunities and deliver impactful solutions. This is a remote position.

- Own and lead all aspects of an established agile team, including backlog grooming, prioritization, and cross‑functional coordination, with a focus on delivering AI‑driven product capabilities.
- Translate AI platform capabilities into customer‑, talent‑, and internal‑facing product experiences that deliver measurable business value.
- Define the scope of new product features and ongoing feature improvements.
- Write and prioritize user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Establish and maintain a high level of credibility with internal and external partners.
- Break down complex problems and use data, analytics, and user research to inform product direction and validate AI‑driven solutions.
- Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and actively communicate contingency and mitigation plans for the team.
- Run ad‑hoc research and business analyses to assess opportunities and risks.
- Take ownership of identifying and solving complex product challenges that align with both short‑term goals and long‑term strategic initiatives.
- Work cross‑functionally and with other Product Managers to organize and prioritize your high‑level roadmap and backlog.
- Start collaborating closely with your development team.
- Take over all in‑flight and planned initiatives.
- Own a product category, working collaboratively to complete quarterly planning and set objectives.
- Launch AI‑driven features that deliver measurable business impact.
- Be fully embedded into and own a development team.
- Monitor and measure the success of your initiatives against company goals.
- Continuously improve the team’s processes through meaningful contributions.
- Discover new product opportunities for your backlog with other Product Managers.
- Develop a repeatable model for delivering upon our roadmap initiatives.
- Refine the roadmap, backlog, and processes to improve over time.
- Re‑evaluate roadmap alignment with strategic goals and adjust as necessary.
- Deliver your roadmap priorities and promises.
- Ensure your team builds impactful products in a timely and elegant fashion.
- Scale your team to meet the growing needs of our business and users.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven software product management experience.
