Aboutthe Role
We’re looking for an experienced Community Safety Officer to join our dedicated team on a 12‑month FTC. This newly created role is central to our anti‑social behaviour (ASB) response, managing a varied caseload including the most complex and serious incidents, while providing vital support to customers, colleagues and external stakeholders. Operating within a hybrid model, you’ll play a key role in delivering our ASB service, ensuring cases are handled promptly, professionally, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of ASB cases, including complex and high‑risk incidents
- Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners to deliver positive community outcomes
- Utilise all available tools and enforcement methods to resolve ASB cases swiftly and effectively
- Prepare legal notices, witness statements and case documentation; represent Settle Paradigm in court when required
- Deliver a customer‑focused ASB service in line with our policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Housing and Rent Recovery to ensure seamless case handling and resolution
- Attend multi‑agency meetings and represent Settle Paradigm in discussions with local authorities, police and other key partners
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a complex ASB caseload
- Confidence when dealing with challenging behaviour
- Experience preparing case reports and legal documentation
- Strong understanding of landlord and tenant law and its application to tenancy and ASB management
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- Experience with in the housing sector, particularly in ASB management
- Previous involvement in multi‑agency meetings and partnership working
- Practical, problem‑solving approach to ASB issues
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering positive community outcomes
- Annual salary: £40,661 per annum

- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday: 09:00 – 17:30
- Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
