We’re looking for a remote Director of Business Development in the Hospitality & Professional services industry.

Our client is a fast-growing organization known for delivering strategic solutions that drive long-term value for clients. The Director of Business Development will cover the Ontario territory identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Director of Business Development responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities through market analysis and lead generation

  • Develop customized proposals, presentations, and sales strategies that align with client needs

  • Build and manage senior-level relationships within client organizations, including C-suite stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client solutions meet expectations and align with strategic goals

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM system

  • The successful candidate has:

  • 5+ years of experience in a business development or “hunter” sales role - ideally managing complex long sales cycles.

  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of delivering sales results

  • Willingness to adopt and execute a proven sales model while applying their own sales acumen

  • Experience managing sales in sectors such as senior living, retirement, or hotel/hospitality

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with excellent time management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools

  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time

  • Compensation and benefits:

  • The discussed salary range is $120,000 – $130,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commissions. 300K+ OTE.
