Job Description

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst who will support a particular agile workstream team (either Integration or UI) to help gather requirements, ensure delivery meets required needs, and ensures work will be accepted without any major issues.

• Perform requirements analysis and documentation activities such as:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process observation.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including user stories, use cases, process flows, and system requirements.
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout project life cycles.
• Conduct Process Analysis and Improvement Activities such as:
  • Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures, etc.
• Engage in Stakeholder Management Activities such as:
  • Collaborate with business users.
  • Project managers.
  • Developers, and other key stakeholders, etc.
• Perform Systems Analysis & Testing activities such as:
  • Analyze system functionality and performance to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Conduct Data Analysis & Reporting Activities such as:
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Required Skills/Experience

• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process observation.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Strong background in creating documentation such as user stories, use cases, process flows, and system requirements, with the ability to maintain requirements traceability throughout project life cycles.
• Experience conducting gap analyses to identify differences between current state and desired future state.
• Proficiency in developing process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Demonstrated success in stakeholder management, including collaboration with business users, project managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
• Hands‑on experience analyzing system functionality and performance to validate alignment with business requirements, including participation in system testing and validation activities.
• Proficiency in data analysis, including creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
