Senior Product Manager

In this role, you will lead the modernization of financial operations and reporting systems that support behavioral healthcare services. You will be responsible for shaping product strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with federal and state financial regulations. The position requires strategic thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans. You will drive automation, integrate legacy and modern systems, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for behavioral healthcare financial operations and reporting
• Lead modernization efforts of legacy systems and integrate automated workflows to enhance operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls
• Partner with finance, compliance, and legal teams to maintain high-quality reporting outputs
• Manage cross-functional agile teams, facilitating tradeoff discussions and prioritizing initiatives in alignment with strategic goals
• Drive organizational change by translating strategic goals into actionable product plans and influencing executive decisions
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders across technical, financial, and policy teams

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years managing financial systems in regulated environments
• Experience with public sector finance, healthcare delivery, or Medi-Cal systems
• Proven success modernizing legacy systems and implementing automation
• Strong understanding of financial compliance, audit standards, and reporting workflows
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with strong executive presence
• Ability to operate strategically while diving deep into technical problem-solving
• Preferred: experience with bond administration, federal draw processes, or Check Write systems; familiarity with California state financial systems (FI$CAL, SCO); knowledge of Medi-Cal funding structures
