This is what you will doThe Rebate Analyst will report in support of the US Market Access Pricing and Contracts team with a focus on Medicaid rebate processing. This role is vital for Chiesi to meet its Government obligations and will help build efficiency within the team and provide critical support across the end-to-end contracting process.
You’ll be responsible for:- Medicaid Rebates: Point of contact for Medicaid rebate programs; review Medicaid drug rebate payment invoices and process for payment efficiently and accurately within allocated timeframe.
- Validate and scrub data for accuracy and alignment with existing contracts
- Obtain approvals per operating procedure
- Ensure data packets are sent for payment in a timely manner and approve Check Run files
- Proactively send Remittance packages to relevant states and triage any issues
- Oversee the organization, accessibility, and secure storage of all documents, ensure a clear audit trail.
- Act as liaison: Serve as the central point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders, including Field Teams, Government Pricing, Legal, and other market access teams, to ensure alignment.
- Drive process optimization: Proactively identify and help implement improvements to the rebate processing.
- Manage contract processing:
- Manage eligibility requests from internal and external stakeholders and with wholesalers regarding eligibility and contract details as needed.
- Execute the initial setup and creation of contracts and rebates.
- Update, extend, and manage existing contracts.
- Support rebate calculations and adjudications and assist with processing chargebacks to ensure accuracy in transactions.
- Support bid to signature across stakeholders/systems across all Medicaid supplemental contacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as paralegal studies, healthcare administration, business administration) or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical contracts, rebate processing.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills are necessary for effectively coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite, contract lifecycle management (CLM) software such as Link Squares, Cobblestone, etc., and Government Pricing software such as Icon tracts, Reviatas, Model N, etc. is desirable.
- Paralegal degree or certifications are desirable.
- A solid understanding of the US healthcare payer landscape and compliance requirements related to pharmaceutical contracting a plus.
