Hotel Business Development Officer

This is a full-time, work from home role for a Hotel Business Development Officer located in Cedar Falls, IA. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and creating strategies to expand the hotel's market presence. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data to support decision-making, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with various teams to ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.

This job is remote, however it may require commuting for business purposes, therefore you must be located within Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa.

• Commission: Based on successful acquisitions of new business opportunities.

• Expertise in New Business Development to identify and explore growth opportunities for the hotel.
• Strong Analytical and Finance skills to assess market trends, analyze revenue data, and create actionable strategies.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build and maintain client relationships and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams while maintaining a solution‑oriented approach.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry trends is highly desirable.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working in the hospitality management sector.
