Overview
Sr. Project Manager - Footprint Strategy Leader (Supply Chain, Single Use) — Remote opportunity (Pensacola, FL area preferred). This role is part of the Footprint Strategy and Execution Department within the Supply Chain Excellence organization and is fully remote. The preference is for candidates to be located in the central to east coast regions.
At Cytiva, we aim to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. This position focuses on transforming global supply chain operations through end-to-end supply chain capability and capacity assessment, planning, localization, simplification and cost productivity projects. The role supports business units on product cost, product quality, fulfillment, sustainability, localization, and operating performance. Salary range: $120k - $150k, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.

Leverage DBS team and toolkits to assess end-to-end Supply Chain & Operations performance and gaps to achieve long-term strategic targets (Make/Buy-Where, High Level Assembly strategy, Capacity modeling). Support Business Development for due diligences on acquisitions, partnerships and strategic alliances.
Elaborate the footprint strategic roadmap with business unit strategy, considering customer priorities, Policy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri) and Core Value Drivers (security, quality, lead time accuracy, cost position). Define end-to-end Security of Supply strategy including dual sourcing, dual make, In Region for Region and localization; engage stakeholders at multiple levels to gather input and drive alignment on key initiatives.
Integrate, prioritize and launch cross-functional initiatives (expansion, transfer of manufacturing and warehousing, new business integrations & collaborations). Ensure early engagement of support functions in new product development and lifecycle management. Plan projects, Cap Ex/OpEx funding, team structure, resourcing, explore new processes (automation/additive manufacturing), and develop risk mitigation plans.
Conduct regular Say-Do and lessons-learned sessions. Support reporting to executive leadership and stakeholders; lead strategic operation reviews to monitor impact on Customers and Core Value Drivers of Cytiva's Business Units.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required;
Master’s in engineering or manufacturing preferred. - 5+ years in manufacturing or supply chain with proven leadership.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal); mentoring and coaching abilities; change agent with energy and enthusiasm to drive change.
- Solid working knowledge of project management and product & process maturity.
- Working knowledge of Lean tools and Lean thinking.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 40% of time.
- Ability to deliver results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
