Premium auditor, Financial Analyst

Davies Risk Services is seeking Premium Auditors who are inquisitive, driven, self-directed, and comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets in the field. • Meet with clients’ policyholders onsite, virtually, or by phone to conduct premium audits, usually at the end of the policy period
• Review business operations and financial records (e.g., payroll, sales, cost records) and verify class codes per industry and client standards
• Schedule appointments with clients to conduct the premium audit and obtain necessary information
• Submit audit reports via web portal and Davies’s premium auditing software
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person discussions
• Examine commercial businesses’ payroll and tax records
• Evaluate operational practices and ensure adherence to customer requirements and quality standards
• Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity

• Must live in the advertised geographic area
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience is helpful but not required
• Strong customer service and people skills
• Numbers-oriented
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to use deductive reasoning to find solutions
