Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Inpatient Coder for a fast-growing healthcare technology client. This is a fully remote, direct-hire opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. The Inpatient Coder will support accurate and timely coding for inpatient hospital records across a variety of client engagements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, data integrity, and optimized reimbursement.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working remotely within a client-facing environment.

• Fully remote role with flexible scheduling aligned to your time zone
• Competitive salary range of $70,000–$80,000 annually
• Exposure to diverse inpatient coding projects and healthcare clients

• Perform accurate inpatient coding in compliance with ICD-10-CM/PCS and applicable guidelines
• Review medical records to ensure complete, compliant, and optimized code assignment
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders as needed

• Must have a RHIA, RHIT, or CCS Certification from AHIMA
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding standards
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and time-management skills

This position offers a competitive base salary of $70,000–$80,000 annually
