About The Team

Door Dash Commerce Platform is our company’s hypergrowth fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States and abroad. Door Dash Commerce Platform enables ecommerce fulfillment for first-party experiences.

As part of the Commerce Platform team, the Senior Associate will help define, test and scale Commerce Platform’s next bets.

As a Senior Associate on our Commerce Platform Growth Strategy & Operations team, you will drive growth and success. You will own a segment, build and execute growth strategy across key clients, launch and scale partnerships, find product-market fit, develop go-to-market strategies, and partner cross-functionally to bring solutions forward. You may design experiments to improve quality and delivery operations, test marketing strategies, address issues that enable merchant and internal processes to run efficiently, and analyze data to explain performance and inform growth.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to take ownership, create plans from scratch, and drive execution with cross-functional buy-in to achieve strategic goals. You will report to a Manager in our Commerce Platform Restaurants team within our Platform Products organization.

• Build and own the business – Drive growth and adoption of top priority projects
• Business development – Develop and foster relationships with top-priority merchant partners to iterate and grow the business. Serve as a key merchant point of contact within the Strategy & Ops team
• Go-to-market strategy – Understand product-market fit, value proposition, pricing, and competitive landscape; help develop go-to-market strategy and grow a high-potential offering
• Improve the product – Guide operational improvements by understanding merchant needs and working with internal partners to design solutions; influence the product roadmap with quantitative and qualitative feedback
• Influence – Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Support, Sales and Account Management to drive growth and scale
• Experiment – Evaluate and test revenue, cost and quality drivers

We’re Excited About You Because…

• You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
• You have 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, or operations; startup or entrepreneurial experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical thinker who can derive recommendations from complex data
• Bias toward action and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Charisma to engage with merchants and internal teams to promote products and drive adoption
• Desire to shape the vision and direction of the company
• Willing to get hands dirty and open to feedback
• Ability to motivate potential partners to see benefits of Door Dash Commerce Platform

Compensation

The starting pay will fall within the range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized by work location. Ranges may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
