The purpose of this role is to lead and execute assigned benefit program development, administration, and coordination to achieve departmental objectives and meet business needs and customer expectations.

Sun Prairie, WI - Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - The salary range for this role is: $84,500 - $126,500
- Lead benefits projects, including new program implementations and compliance matters.
- Manage consistent application of policies and practices regarding benefit plans, time off, and leave of absence.
- Ensure external partners meet expectations by overseeing vendor activity and participant education.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal partners for accurate benefits delivery.
- Provide problem-solving support to employees and handle escalated concerns for timely resolution.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others.
- Lead pieces of the annual benefits open enrollment process, including testing and employee communications.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements related to benefits administration.
- Manage reporting and monitoring.
- Maintain benchmarking information, participate in surveys, and research emerging trends.
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Clear understanding of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Plans
- Thorough understanding of state and federal regulations related to benefit plans, including COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to employees at all levels effectively.
- Experience in benefits planning and administration.
- Proficiency in benefits administration software.
- Familiarity with leave administration software.
The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience.
Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
