- Meet with clients’ policyholders onsite, virtually or by phone, usually at the end of the policy period to conduct a review of business operations and specific financial records such as payroll, sales and/or cost records.
- Verify class codes assigned per industry and client standards as required by their insurance contract.
- Individually schedule appointments with clients to conduct the premium audit and obtain necessary information.
- Submit audit reports via web portal and Davies’ exclusive premium auditing software.
- Contact clients and communicate via phone, e‑mail, and face‑to‑face discussions.
- Examine commercial businesses’ payroll and tax records.
- Evaluate operational practices.
- Adhere to customer requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
- Must live in the geographic area advertised.
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience is required.
- Strong customer service and people skills are a must.
- Numbers‑oriented.
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to use deductive reasoning to find solutions.
