Gathers and analyzes data from various systems in order to forecast trends and ensure inventory is readily available for Quick Response Locations, Regional Parts Centers, 3rd Party Service Providers, and Service Technicians. Responsible for generating and compiling multiple reports and, based on findings, deploying inventory to improve our parts supply chain delivery times and fill ratios in the most cost effective manner.
Reviews and updates planning parameters, meets with and presents that information to the appropriate departments, and creates internal orders or external purchase orders to complete the process.
- Maintain an advanced level of customer satisfaction when supporting Field Service, other departments, vendors, suppliers, and end customers using all system platforms available.
- Analyze inventory levels, aging and turns. Identify order strategies, supply routes, problem areas and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare, deliver and analyze reports to maximize efficiencies of existing systems and strategies. Continuously improve methods to eliminate potential troubled areas for Quick Response Locations, Regional Parts Centers, or Technicians.
- Interface with vendors/suppliers to improve Canon's supply chain.
- Purchase from vendors/suppliers based on projects, reporting, or systems for assigned locations that meet departmental goals and targets for fill ratio.
- Monitor and analyze inventory reports or planning systems to maintain proper re-order points at all stocking locations, meeting inventory level and fill ratio targets.
- Create reports that analyze trends and use information to make inventory stocking recommendations for Field Service Technicians. Set up meetings with Service to review those reports and obtain input on correct inventory levels for each Technician.
- Confirm invoice, bill, and charge accuracy relative to shipment of goods and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with Product Support on product launches, quality recalls, alternate sourcing, and unexpected demand.
- Coordinate item flow from source and within network, and modify as needed.
- Analyze QRL inventory position based on MIF, urgency, and part cost.
- Document suggested procedural or system improvements to elevate team productivity for Manager review.
- Provide direct support to Service, handling phone calls as requested by Manager, using the monitored phone system.
- Monitor, review and respond to emails from Field Service, Vendors, Suppliers, and other departments promptly.
- Perform responsibilities of a Parts Support Rep or Mission Critical Parts Expeditor as directed by Manager.
- Provide training for Parts Support Representatives, Mission Critical Parts Coordinators, or Parts Planning Analysts.
- Complete all tasks, projects, and functions assigned by Manager.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- Minimal travel as requested to support business goals and objectives (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
Salary:
We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $54,460-$81,550 annually.

Hybrid – This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office three days a week and the option to work from home the remainder of the week, unless a business need requires in-office attendance on other days. Schedules may change based on business needs.
