Join our team as a VBC Performance Analyst where you'll use advanced analytical skills to drive the success of healthcare practices in value‑based care programs like Medicare Shared Savings and other payer contracts. You'll be the analytical powerhouse behind performance improvements, collaborating with field teams to identify practice‑level opportunities, track key performance indicators, and develop innovative reporting models that directly impact patient care outcomes.
This dynamic role offers the exciting opportunity to build and test cutting‑edge analytical frameworks while serving as the dedicated data expert supporting our Provider Networks team, making a measurable difference in how healthcare practices achieve their performance goals and ultimately improve patient health.
Candidates should be comfortable working remotely/work from home anywhere within the US.
Primary Duties- Execute data analysis of trends and strategic opportunities for quality improvement across Aledade’s value‑based care portfolio; track key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to risk, quality, and affordability for all health plan payer contracts across MSSP, Commercial, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid, providing the SVP‑Market Performance with a synthesized vision of where targeted interventions may be necessary within different markets.
- Support ad‑hoc reporting and data analysis requests for field teams specifically relating to MSSP.
- Develop strong understanding of payer‑specific quality programs and partner with subject matter experts to learn and support market workflows for addressing performance measures; conduct assessments determining opportunities to reduce unnecessary costs, drive quality performance improvement, and improve value‑based care performance tools through new and innovative methods for measuring and tracking performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, health policy, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or other relevant fields.
- 1+ year(s) of relevant work and/or internship experience.
- Experience in using Google Sheets or Excel as a data management tool; comfortable with basic formulas and creating pivot tables.
- Exemplary communication skills both written and verbal.
- Commitment to Aledade’s mission of serving primary care providers, their patients and society.
- Experience using Tableau or other data management software.
- Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high degree of autonomy.
- Highly organized and proactive in raising questions around clarity, prioritization, blockers, and other points to drive assigned tasks forward.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time; extensive use of computers and keyboard; occasional walking and lifting may be required.
$41,000 - $65,000 a year. Salary range: $41,000-$65,000 base + bonus + equity. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
