The Network Operations Excellence (NOE) team is a component of the Global Support and Integrity Operations (GSIO) organization, providing support for Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants to maximize customer retention while minimizing cost.
About the RoleA Senior Business Analyst II is required to join the Forecasting and Network Operations Excellence team, managing and driving projects aimed at scaling global operations, optimizing processes, and coming up with cost-saving solutions.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and executing SQL, and a talent for improving business processes.
Must be based in one of the following locations:
New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Tempe, Sunnyvale, and able to travel pending the needs of the business. Required to make bi-yearly trips for team on-sites.
- Manage Processes & Timelines, communicating with Senior leadership partners to ensure accountability.
- Own business outcomes of GSIO by driving initiatives across technical teams.
- Exhibit agility in report creation and analysis, crafting BI dashboards and datasets within tight timelines.
- Take the lead in managing the demand planning process for designated business lines.
- Proactively pinpoint opportunities for business improvement, system optimization, and automation.
- Streamline and scale the existing planning process efficiently to cater to the distinct needs of each business line.
- Possess a Masters Degree in a Quantitative field + 4 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelors in a Quantitative field + 6 years of relevant experience.
- Have a strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and building dashboards with BI Tools.
- Can read an ETL pipeline and collaborate with Data and Software Engineers.
- Can design new metrics and collaborate with Data Scientists.
- Can lead projects independently and collaborate with Operations, Finance.
- Successfully influence without authority.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You’re curious to learn new things and find ways to improve the Door Dash ecosystem.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location.
Door Dash offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with employer matching, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off, and paid sick leave.
The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $84,000 — $123,500 USD.
