Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute customized pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies across multiple brands and markets.
- Forecast demand accurately and optimize inventory allocation across channels (direct, OTA, GDS, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
- Leverage segmentation, channel mix analysis, and seasonality planning to maximize RevPAR and profitability.
- Stay informed on industry best practices, new tools, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Host weekly revenue meetings with each property within your portfolio
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Identify underperforming segments or channels and develop corrective action plans.
Client Relationship Ownership
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned hotel clients.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients entirely through online and phone interactions.
- Present revenue strategies and results in a way that inspires confidence and buy-in.
- Guide clients through pricing changes, strategy shifts, and market challenges with professionalism and clarity.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of strategies and promotions.
- Mentor and oversee Revenue Analysts, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and strategy execution.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from ownership groups to on-property teams.
Systems & Process Management
- Utilize RMS, CRS, PMS, and channel managers to implement pricing, restrictions, and distribution updates.
- Troubleshoot system or data issues and develop process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a hotel Revenue Manager (multi-property or multi-brand experience preferred).
- Proven track record of increasing revenue performance and meeting financial goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — must be able to earn client trust remotely.
- Creative problem-solver who can approach challenges from different perspectives.
- Proficiency in revenue management software, PMS, CRS, and Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts without direct supervision.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, finance, or related field.
- Experience with IDeaS, Duetto, GRO, Syn Xis, or similar systems.
- Experience with Web Rez Pro , Opera, Roomkey, Jonas Chorum, Visual Matrix, Auto Clerk, or similar systems.
- Experience with Amadeus iHotelier, Synxis, Siteminder, Vertical Booking, or similar systems.
- Experience with independent hotels and branded hotels (e.g. Hilton, Choice, Best Western, IHG)
- Knowledge of market research and data analysis techniques.
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $89,000 annually
