Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Manager role is designed to be a one-stop-shop to ensure order fulfillment, prompt and professional communication, along with accuracy in orders and invoicing, as well as problem-solving as issues arise for our customers. Will require occasional work from home and after regular business hours to handle issues as they arise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
* Ownership for multiple customers both within and external to the facility in handling orders from receipt to billing/invoicing and all points in between.
* Daily communication with customers via email, phone, or in person
* Ensures data accuracy for order information in 3PL
* Coordinates communication between Operations and customer for orders, issues, and changes.
* Coordination with Sales, Facility Management, and Operations Supervisor to ensure successful launch and successful structure for efficient service.
* Customer reporting of KPIs, both internal and external for customer performance
* Regular and predictable attendance
* Addressing issues in professional and courteous manner, both internal and external
OTHER SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree (preferred)
* 2+ years of Customer-Facing experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree (AND/OR) 2+ years experience
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)
* Microsoft office
* Proficient in excel and outlook
* 3PL experience is a plus
* Fluent reading and writing English required
* Hazmat shipper certification a plus

* Ability to Multi-task

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for assessing hazmat shipments.
