We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our inverter business in the local market. This role focuses on channel development, key account management, and market expansion within the Solar PV industry. Main responsibilities Execute local business development and sales plans in line with global Inverter BU strategy.
Develop and manage sales channels, distributors, and key accounts to achieve revenue and market share targets. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Work closely with marketing and local distribution partners to promote the company’s brand and inverter product portfolio. Provide regular market feedback and performance updates to BU leadership.
Support additional strategic or commercial initiatives as required. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of the Solar PV industry; experience with PV inverters is highly preferred. Minimum 5 years of business development, sales, or key account experience within the Solar PV sector. Proven ability to develop channels, manage distributors, and close complex B2B deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment. Strong team player with a high level of ownership and accountability.
