- Perform title examination and analyze the chain of title for a wide range of title orders, primarily commercial and residential
- Abstract and analyze records such as leases, liens, judgments, and easements to verify ownership and legal restrictions
- Resolve issues related to missing or contradictory information in title documentation
- Prepare initial title commitment documentation in accordance with procedural guidelines
- Review reports for accuracy and provide underwriting interpretation within established guidelines
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience
- State license(s) if required
- Strong analytical review and research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Knowledge of legal terms related to title examination
- Proficiency with company operating systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Experience in problem-solving within the title industry
