Join a dynamic Commercial Client Operations team that supports a broad range of critical processes and transactions across the bank. The Client Solutions team focuses on delivering an outstanding experience for commercial clients, and we are seeking a proactive, client‑first leader to manage a pod of Client Service associates.
Responsibilities- Lead a pod of Client Service associates, including development, performance management and daily operations.
- Manage day‑to‑day BAU work, identify work trends, and review reports and dashboards to ensure progress.
- Develop and drive CS strategy, improve internal controls, processes, and procedures.
- Act as process manager for various L3 processes and first line of defense for troubleshooting and escalation.
- Own the client experience in all interactions, ensuring detailed follow‑through.
- Execute job duties within target turnaround times and quality levels, raising constraints or concerns to management.
- Communicate status, risks and issues to internal and external stakeholders (client, sales, service, operations, product).
- Work with partners to root‑cause complaints and develop repeatable solutions.
- Make client interactions effortless and simple.
- Become an expert in Capital One credit, deposit, and treasury management products and services.
- Research client industry, business, and banking needs.
- Collaborate across teams to analyze and resolve client issues.
- Advocate for client needs with internal stakeholders, providing thoughtful feedback.
- Develop solutions when issues arise and recover to delight the client.
- Represent Client Solutions with internal partners and clients.
- Develop solutions based on subject‑matter expertise.
- Deliver results that exceed expectations with minimal guidance.

- Travel to client sites as required.

- Live within ~50 miles of a Capital One hub (Charlotte NC, Plano TX, Richmond VA, McLean VA) and be able to come in person with at least 24 hours notice.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in client services, customer service, business process management, project management, relationship management or risk management.
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
- Four or more years in client services or customer service.
- Four or more years in Treasury Management, Project Management, Relationship Management or Risk Management.
- Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management or Project Management certification.

Minimum and maximum annual salaries vary by location. For example, in Charlotte, NC the range is $93,400 – $106,600 for a Principal Associate, Client Service; in McLean, VA it is $102,700 – $117,200.
Salary information is provided to guide candidates; the actual offer is determined during the hiring process.
Compensation and BenefitsIn addition to base salary, this role is eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
