Position: Senior Product Manager – Provider Payments – Remote

As part of the product team, this Senior Product Manager – Provider Payments role will be responsible for supporting notification and document domains working across multiple delivery teams as well as be responsible for cross functional initiatives across our digital channels. You will be responsible for interfacing with stakeholders and internal teams to understand and communicate what changes are needed to support new initiatives, enable existing and how we deliver world class products to both our internal and external consumers on time.

While this role is not directly technical, a strong understanding of how products work and a clear vision for their interdependencies and data within our ecosystem is an absolute necessity. In this position you will work closely with the Product Development team, the overall business (including key leadership stakeholders), clients, and the development team to ensure that the experiences that we are crafting align with the overall roadmap.

You will also be asked to capture and synthesize the voice of the customer – which includes both Providers as well as internal users/stakeholders who are affected by the decisions made in this process. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely
* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Own relationship with

    Functional Area

    SMEs, sharing vision and insights
  • Drive business work within the Agile process, sharing Business vision while understanding the technical complexities
  • Help define and prioritize capabilities that will be groomed and developed by product development teams
  • Communicate and ensure stakeholder timelines are being met, including activities such as defining and understanding cost and benefits to deliver on business objectives and KPI’s
  • Provide demonstrations to internal and external consumers
  • Mentor Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure vision and capabilities align with business goals
  • Help craft, maintain, and evangelize product-line value proposition
  • Supports application testing and configuration with project teams to ensure solution will meet the business objectives of the requirements
  • Influence innovation across teams to ensure strategic alignment
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience as a product manager / product owner facilitating, and documenting requirements as features or user stories gathered from both business and IT counterparts
  • Experience working in a role that enable capabilities via APIs
  • Experience working on multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and visually communicating business problems with flows and diagrams as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
  • Experience with product lifecycle process and experience working with agile software delivery tools (Aha, Rally)
  • Healthcare B2B or C2B payments experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data and services that support provider needs and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
  • Proven ability to work in a highly virtual and matrixed environment
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate ideas and analysis in a clear concise fashion to clients, colleagues, and senior business leaders
