We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Coordinator to help ensure the right materials, packaging, and products are in the right place at the right time, supporting our teams in delivering high-quality, innovative products to market.
OverviewThe Sourcing Coordinator supports the Sourcing team in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for consumer products. This role helps manage vendor communication, track sample development, and ensure on‑time delivery while maintaining quality, cost, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple product categories and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Support the sourcing process for new and existing consumer products, including identifying and vetting suppliers, requesting quotes, and maintaining vendor records.
- Issue and manage sample requests; monitor development status to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers on product samples, pricing, testing, and packaging requirements.
- Maintain accurate data in PLM, ERP, and sourcing systems, including cost sheets, lead times, and vendor profiles.
- Partner closely with Product Development, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product specifications and timelines are met.
- Track supplier performance (on‑time delivery, quality, responsiveness) escalating issues when needed.
- Support cost analysis and assist in identifying cost‑saving opportunities or alternative sourcing options.
- Help manage product testing, compliance documentation, and sustainability requirements as applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Merchandising, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain coordination (consumer goods experience strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with ERP/PLM systems a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong follow‑up and attention to detail.
