Job Description:

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Forestry Resource Department in logs purchasing.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:
  • Support the purchasing efforts for Operations(primarily in Ariba, SAP, Evolve, and/or LIMS)
  • PO/Contract creation:
    Ensure items and prices are listed accurately, and that all necessary approvals have been documented
  • PO/Contract management:
    All orders are placed, shipped, and delivered on time
  • Verify that all contracts and requisitions are compliant with the company’s policies
  • Assist with vendor onboarding and vendor profile management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams to improve purchasing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coordinate processes with the accounts payable function to facilitate enforcement of the LP's established policies
  • Expedite order delays and resolve issues related to changes, returns, replacements, and credits
  • Complete all other duties and special projects as assigned
What do I need to be successful?
  • 0-2 years of experience with procurement operations, ERP, eProcurement, eCatalog, contract management, strategy formulation, and technology
  • Experience with process, quality control, and workflow management and design preferred
  • Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analyses, and generating high quality outputs
  • Knowledge of leading P2P technology practices and trends
  • General understanding of network administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and change agent mentality
  • Good teamwork skills to work with other departments to plan and execute enhancement, upgrade, and on-going development related technologies
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    Business, Technology, or other related degree program or e quivalent combination of education and experience
Work Environment
  • This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule
  • Must live within a commutable distance to Nashville or willing to relocate to the greater Nashville area
