This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Head of Growth in Washington.
This role is a senior, hands‑on leadership position focused on building and scaling a high‑impact growth engine in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment. You will own growth end to end, from customer acquisition and conversion to retention and revenue expansion. Working directly with founders and cross‑functional leaders, you will set direction, make data‑informed decisions, and move quickly from strategy to execution. This is a builder role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and feels energized by real‑time problem solving.
You will balance big‑picture thinking with deep tactical involvement to drive measurable outcomes. The environment values ownership, urgency, and clear thinking under pressure.
- Own and scale the full growth engine, including acquisition, funnel optimization, experimentation, and retention
- Define and execute a clear growth roadmap directly tied to revenue growth and profitability
- Manage and optimize paid media and acquisition channels while continuously testing new growth levers
- Establish success metrics, closely monitor performance, and act quickly to address underperformance
- Partner closely with founders and cross‑functional teams across marketing, technology, and data to align priorities
- Build, mentor, and challenge a high‑performing growth team with a strong bias toward execution and accountability
- 8 or more years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or customer acquisition roles
- Proven experience scaling a customer‑based or subscription business, ideally through significant revenue growth
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate instincts through data and experimentation
- Decisive operator who thrives in ambiguous environments and does not require excessive direction
- Comfort balancing strategic planning with hands‑on execution in a builder‑oriented role
- Strong problem‑solving skills, resilience under pressure, and a sense of urgency when results are off track
- Clear communicator who brings energy, motivation, and strong opinions, while remaining open to data‑driven change
- Competitive annual salary range of $200,000 to $240,000
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- 401(k) retirement program
- Flexible paid time off, including birthday PTO
- Bi‑annual performance reviews and compensation assessments
- Access to exclusive lifestyle and wellness membership discounts
- Opportunity to engage directly with a premium product offering
