As the National Account Manager
, you will play a high-impact role in driving Stokke’s growth with major U.S. retail partners. In this strategic, commercially focused position, you will take full ownership of managing and expanding Stokke’s presence across national accounts. This role blends sales leadership, customer partnership development, strategic planning, and performance management.
You will lead revenue delivery, develop joint business plans, strengthen long-term partnerships, and bring Stokke’s premium brand experience to life across key retail channels. With responsibility for surpassing annual sales and profitability targets, this role offers the opportunity to influence the future of Stokke’s business in its largest market.
This is a remote U.S.
-based position (Midwest area or Northeastern)with domestic travel (15–25%) and occasional international travel.
- Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team focused on national account excellence.
- Drive the overall strategy, execution, and performance across your assigned account base.
- Build and nurture long-standing partnerships to deepen loyalty and drive continuous growth.
- Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) discussions to define long-term growth targets and shared priorities.
- Design and implement data-driven sales strategies that exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Set and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance targets.
- Evaluate competitive landscape, customer trends, and cost structures to inform pricing strategy.
- Lead retailer co-op planning, investment decisioning, and post-evaluation.
Deliver accurate sales forecasting for current assortments and new product introductions.
Provide in-depth reporting, insights, and recommendations that guide commercial decision-making.
Analyze performance data across accounts, leveraging retailer systems and financial dashboards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with Marketing to align product growth goals, category activations, and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, eCommerce, Operations, Finance, Product) to deliver best-in-class retailer support.
- Ensure alignment between account strategies and Stokke’s overarching commercial goals.
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Required10+ years of experience managing national retail accounts within premium or consumer brands.
5+ years of proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
Demonstrated success in delivering sales growth and executing strategic account plans.
Strong understanding of retailer systems for sales tracking, financials, and performance management.
Special RequirementsStrong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Commercially sharp with the ability to apply strategy to execution.
Skilled in managing multiple priorities on tight timelines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (15–25%).
