Digital Channels Operations Generalist

Overview

This is a remote position that may be hired in multiple markets across the United States.

The Digital Channels Operational Generalist will sit within the Consumer, Wealth, and Business Digital Banking team under First Citizens Bank's Enterprise Digital organization. Searching for a Generalist who can take ownership of projects from start to finish across a variety of functions. This role is ideal for someone who is extremely organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing independently and in ambiguity. The ideal candidate is one that can keep work moving, align stakeholders, and ensure project/task/effort is delivered on time.

This candidate should also be comfortable executing routine operational tasks an facilitating routine meeting cadences to drive work forward.

• Operational Support – Provides support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve team practices. Assists in streamlining daily workflow for overall unit, resolving escalated matters where possible. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Execute various operational processes. Document and standardize procedures and job aids for operations team.
• Vendor Management – Facilitate critical vendor processes including performance assessments, operations reviews, tactical tracking of open items.
• Project Management – Support ad hoc projects across back‑office applications and operational processes, communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively.
• Identifying Objectives – Determines business needs through complex analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to achieve company and department goals, and communicates these through the use of specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting.

• Jira/Confluence exposure.
• Meeting facilitation.
• Project management experience (action item documentation, work breakdown structure, meeting minutes).
• Vendor management experience (contracts, invoices, facilitate routine operational meetings).
• Extreme ownership mindset – if it's yours, get it done / Independent: take ownership of tasks from start to finish, no hand holding.
• Digital Banking exposure.
• Communication skills: clear and concise.
• Stakeholder management (understanding of various stakeholders across the enterprise).

• Digital Banking expertise.
• Critical thinking that can break down a problem into actionable steps.
• Risk management experience.

The base pay for this position is generally between $88,350 and $115,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, locations, and other non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
