Purchasing Manager

Pro-Play Games is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Manager to oversee product procurement, vendor relations, and inventory flow for our retail and online operations. This role is critical to ensuring our store and fulfillment teams have the products needed to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and can balance strategic purchasing decisions with day-to-day operational needs.

• Manage purchasing of trading card games and tabletop products across multiple vendors and distributors
• Negotiate vendor terms, pricing, and credit while maintaining strong professional relationships
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs in collaboration with Sales and Fulfillment teams
• Track purchase orders from creation through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain clear, written communication on across company systems for all purchasing activity to provide visibility across departments
• Ensure all procurement activity is well-documented and transparent to support accountability and cross-department alignment
• Monitor budget and productivity metrics to optimize purchasing decisions and reduce costs
• Provide reporting on inventory health, vendor performance, and purchasing efficiency

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (retail or gaming industry preferred)
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); experience with POS or inventory systems (Square, Crystal Commerce) a plus
• Excellent written communication and accountability practices, with a strong emphasis on Slack as the primary communication tool
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a remote setting
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with trading card games or the tabletop gaming industry is a strong plus
