Title Examiner
Summary:
The Title Examiner responsibilities include reviewing title searches and supporting documents, entering and reviewing data in our internal management system for accuracy, preparing and filing legal documents, and managing title issues.
- Review title reports completely and accurately.
- Document and communicate review results to client.
- Establish an accurate chain of title, prepare and/or request assignments.
- Identify title issues and communicate them to the client.
- Initiate title curative actions and follow up on title issues.
- May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
- May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Used to working in fast-paced, high volume, team environment.
- 2-3 Years real property title experience.
- Must have knowledge of county real property records, and what constitutes a valid lien.
- Must be able to proof read with precision and accuracy.
The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees are required to be onsite 2-3 days per week following a 90-day training period and upon management approval.
Salary RangeThe salary for this position typically ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 an hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
