About the role

As a Workforce Planning Analyst, you will support the design, implementation, and ongoing processes of the Workforce Management System (WFM). You will deliver project and/or program results within committed deadlines, support continued WFM development, and provide training materials, enhanced applications, technology, and operational processes. You will build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization with field and cross‑functional Home Office partners.

This is a hybrid remote role with a flexible work arrangement from either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Workforce Management System to ensure successful implementation of strategy and project plans within established deadlines.
  • Support labor hours and staffing forecasting models utilizing transactional data and time standards.
  • Coordinate internal Time and Motion studies for office processes.
  • Model the fiscal impact of WFM results, evaluate seasonal fluctuations, and assess the need to adjust productivity scales.
  • Partner with Internal Operations to support workload planning and task assignments.
  • Build strong relationships with Internal Operations, Business Intelligence, and field leadership teams to proactively address friction points and opportunities.
  • Support project rollout strategies by developing training plans that are intuitive to execute.
  • Demonstrate the ability to represent the end user perspective when considering systemic changes.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of training documentation and operations manuals for operational and system changes.
  • Partner with support teams (Service Desk, multi‑unit managers, etc.) to provide system training to end‑users.
  • Support the creation of labor reporting for offices and multi‑unit managers to manage payroll, staffing, and scheduling optimization.
  • Focus on exception reporting to identify business opportunities to drive return on investment.
  • Sustain vendor relationships to maintain accountability for project and system deliverables.
  • Partner with office management to sustain knowledge of the day‑to‑day office experience.
  • Support projects and objectives as assigned.
About You
  • 1‑3 years of Workforce Management or Resource Planning experience.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in healthcare and/or retail operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
  • Natural curiosity and drive to help leaders solve complex labor and scheduling challenges in a medical/retail environment.
  • Experience in capturing Time and Motion studies and implementing the applied data in labor modeling.
  • Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to synthesize data sets into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a desire to satisfy internal and external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time‑management skills and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
