Redstone Commodity Search are working with a Global Commodity Trading House looking to hire a Business Head to take over their Mexican entity.

• Take over and manage an existing trading desk based in Mexico, with an established focus on the export of Mexican chickpeas and the import of Canadian pulse products for local distribution.
• Managing direct reports and ensuring both current and future hires are the best talent and have aligned values with the company.
• Analyse ongoing agricultural market trends in pulses, beans, grains, seeds, corn, and wheat to support strategic trading decisions, improve margin performance, and grow a diversified, revenue-generating client base.
• Maintain and expand a strong network of local and international clients, vendors, and service providers, using deep market knowledge to ensure optimal sourcing and distribution channels.
• Role reports to COO.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to relevant fields preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in management in an international business setting.
• Significant international sales, import/export regulations, and trade dynamics, especially in pulses, chickpeas, grains, corn, soybeans, and other specialty crops.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Role is based in Mexico, can be remote.
