In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Trade Sales Manager to bring fresh insights and expertise to our P&O Cruises Sales department.
Role OverviewAs a Sales Manager within our P&O Cruises Trade Sales team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving commercial success and building strategic relationships with our travel agent partners across the UK.
Key accountabilities- Strategic Leadership:
Create and present annual business plans and co-operative marketing strategies to deliver growth and KPIs. - Account Management:
Act as the primary contact for your portfolio of travel agent partners, building senior-level relationships and ensuring P&O Cruises has a strong share of voice. - Sales Delivery:
Develop tactical sales plans, monitor performance, and implement training initiatives to empower frontline sales teams. - Commercial & Budget Management:
Negotiate commercial terms, manage incentive programmes, and oversee marketing budgets to ensure ROI and compliance.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK
15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK
07, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis, we offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
Your Expertise and Leadership
To thrive as a Trade Sales Manager, we’re looking for:
- A proven track record in driving incremental sales and distribution while maintaining brand integrity.
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
- Leadership experience, with the ability to coach and inspire others
- Commercial acumen and confidence in negotiation and decision‑making.
- Knowledge of the travel/cruise industry and relevant trade partnerships desirable.
- Experience of b2b sales desirable
